- FINALS WEEKEND -
06.December.2009
Tournament MVP Glenn Barsibal scored 27 points while point-guard & finals MVP Jose Nonato Florida played a great all-around game on both ends of the court to go with his 10 points as Loughborough dethroned Netherhawks 64-61 in one of the most closely contested finals in LFC Basketball history; Barsibal and Florida are among the team's new recruits. Coach Mutya Delicana handled her team brilliantly the whole tournament, blending her old-reliable veterans with the new recruits tactically to snatch the well-deserved crown from the local defending champs Netherhawks. In the earlier game, despite playing with only 5 players, Braunstone settled for the 3rd place finish as they defeated the Generals 57-55 who shot poorly at the FT line missing the game-deciding freebies in the 4th quarter.

- SEMI-FINALS -
29.November.2009
Loughborough escaped with a 73-70 win against the inspired Generals who kept the game close from tip-off until the final buzzer. The Generals had the chance of turning the result around but failed as they missed crucial freethrows in the last two minutes of the game. Tournament leading scorer and MVP contender Glenn Barsibal scored 26 points to lead Loughborough's charge and got enough support from Sam Delicana and PG Jose Nonato Florida who chipped-in 14 and 12 points respectively. In the other semi-final match, undefeated and defending champ Netherhawks could have instilled enough intimidation on their opponent Braunstone as the latter raised the white flag & conceded the game in favor of the former as less than five players showed up for the game. Netherhawks advanced to the finals on a 20-0 forfeiture victory and utilized the time to train for their much-awaited duel with old and long-time rival Loughborough.
